India seeks greater cooperation with Saudi Arabia. During his three-day visit Saud met President Pranab Mukherjee and held bilateral discussions with Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The 2006 visit of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to India witnessed the signing of "Delhi Declaration". This also led to the foundation for establishing a strategic partnership and developing cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
This was followed by Manmohan Singh's visit to the Gulf Kingdom in 2010, during which "Riyadh Declaration" was signed, which further deepened bilateral cooperation in various fields.
