At least six persons including a Block Development Officer (BDO), were injured today in a clash in Bihar's Sheohar district, a police officer said.
The clash broke out after members of one community objected to route of Tazia procession being taken out by the members of the other community from near a government middle school premises in Harpur village, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Sunil Kumar said.
Soon a large crowd from both communities gathered on the spot and pelted stones on each other in which Parsauni block's BDO Anwar Ahmed was among the six persons who sustained injuries, the SP said.

Kumar said that he alongwith the district magistrate Vinod Narayan Singh rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
The injured persons have been taken to a government hospital for treatment, the SP said.
