Speaking on the occasion, Sushil stressed that the NDA government in the state has been sensitive towards the needs and aspirations of the minorities and underscored schemes introduced by the regime in this regard.

At the organized inside the city's Anjuman-e-Islamia Hall, the BJP leaders welcomed "rozedaars", joined them in prayers and participated in the feast which began with water and and dried dates.

The BJP leaders stressed on the need to foster "Hindu-Muslim unity" and urged members of all communities "to live together in peace and contribute towards the progress of the state and the country".
