An alleged bike lifter was arrested and four stolen motorcycles were recovered at his disclosure here, police said today.
The vehicle lifter, hailing from Samba district, was arrested yesterday by a police party from the Gandhi Nagar police station, a police spokesperson said.
He said the arrest was made during investigation of a case registered at the police station recently after a two-wheeler was stolen from the area.
Fourstolen motorcycles were recovered at the disclosure of the arrested person from different parts of the city, the spokesperson said.
He said some more arrests and recoveries are expected as his questioning was still going on.
