BJP chief pays tribute to Kargil martyr Capt Vikram Batra

BJP chief Amit Shah today paid tribute to Kargil war hero Capt Vikram Batra, who was posthumously awarded highest war honour Paramvir Chakra, on his death anniversary.

"My tribute to a brave son of Mother India, an immortal hero of Kargil War, Captain Vikram Batra on his martyrdom day," Shah said in a tweet.

The army officer had died fighting Pakistani forces during the Kargil war in 1999.
