Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha president Poonam Mahajan will arrive on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir on October 22 to review the functioning of the party in the state.
Talking to reporters here today, BJYM state president Suresh Ajay Magotra said MP and BJYM chief Mahajan will visit the state.
"Poonam Mahajan will arrive on October 22 in Srinagar to attend the BJYM workers meet and to deliver lecture on 'I am new India'. She will also meet various youth delegation from different walks of life from Kashmir," he said.
On October 23, Mahajan will be welcomed at the Jammu airport. She will address the state youth convention at the Convention Centre in Jammu.
She will also hold a meeting with the state BJYM team and other office bearers, Magotra said.
He said Mahajan will seek reports from office bearers and district president regarding various activity of the organisation up to the Mandal level.
She will also seek information regarding youth-oriented schemes started by the central government and the state, he said.
The Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha is the youth wing of the BJP.
