Bombs explode in house; woman injured

A middle aged woman was injured when several bombs exploded in a house at Gachberia under Keshpur block in West Midnapore district today.

Several bombs were stored in the house, belonging to one Akhtar, of which some exploded injuring the woman, police officials said.

The woman was alone in the house during the blast, they said adding that it was being ascertained whether she was related to Akhtar, who was not yet traced.

The injured woman was hospitalised and the house was badly damaged, they said.
