Bootlegger held with 50 pouches of liquor in J&K

An alleged bootlegger was arrested here, with police recovering 50 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.

The accused, who was arrested yesterday, has been identified as Om Parkash Thakur and is a resident of Jharkhand but currently living in the Belicharana area of Jammu, police said.

A case has been registered and further investigations initiated, they said.
