Case against IAC workers for unlawful assembly

A group of people led by IAC city head Mayank Gandhi had gathered in suburban Andheri for protest over coal block allocation issue for which they had not sought permission, police said.

According to police, the IAC volunteers were carrying flags, placards and shouting slogans.

"After the protest started we stopped them, took their details and let them go," an official at the D N Nagar police station said.
