Ceiling panels at the rear-end of a temporary structure built here to host the CII Agro-tech event fell minutes before the arrival of President Pranab Mukherjee and his Israeli counterpart Reuven Rivlin for its inaugural.
As many as six square shaped roof panels fell, forcing people to run for cover. However, nobody was hurt.
A separate enclosure was set up at the event for President Pranab Mukherjee, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Punjab Governor V P Singh Badnore and Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki and Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh.
Tight security arrangement were made at the biennial agro technology and business fair organised by CII here at Parade ground.
