Chief Reporter Pallab Bhowmik retires from PTI Kolkata

Pallab Kumar Bhowmik, the Chief Reporter of Press Trust Of India, Kolkata bureau, retired today after 34 years of service in the organisation.

Bhowmik was the Chief Reporter in the Kolkata office since 1999.

A farewell was given to Bhowmik by the PTI Employees Co-operative Society at which mementos were presented to him and his long years in the organisation recalled.

He had briefly worked in a Bengali magazine before joining PTI.
