CM deputes officer to help Arunachalese in flooded Chennai

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has asked Kesang Ngurup Damo, Deputy Resident Commissioner of Arunachal Bhavan in New Delhi, to immediately visit Chennai to attend the flood-affected students, patients and other people of the state residing there.

Damo would assess the situation and co-ordinate with the Government of Tamil Nadu to provide required assistance and relief to the affected students and other people of Arunachal Pradesh in Chennai, an official release said.

The Chief Minister has assured to provide all help and support to the affected students pursuing different educational courses and patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals in Chennai.
