Cold recedes marginally in Rajasthan

Night temperature in Rajasthan warmed up by a few degrees as the minimum temperature settled at 5.8 degree Celsius in Churu.

Sikar recorded a minimum of 6 degrees last night, up by one degree from Sunday night.

Other adjoining areas also got a slight respite from the biting cold with Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jaipur and Ajmer recording the minimum temperatures of of 8.4, 9.6, 10 and 11.5 degree Celsius respectively, according to Met Department.

The weather conditions would remain the same for the next 24 hours in the state, officials added.
