Complete ongoing projects this year: BADP asks DDC

"Completion of ongoing projects and dovetailing of resources should receive considerable focus and as far as possible no new work should be taken up under the programme this fiscal," an official spokesman said after a review meeting of the Committee headed by chief secretary Madhav Lal here.

The spokesman said the meeting reviewed the sectoral progress achieved under the programme and held detailed discussions regarding the implementation of the Annual Action Plan 2012-13.

Lal also impressed upon deputy commissioners to strictly pursue the policy of completing works with limited financial involvement, but of significant benefit to the communities at large.

 

The BADP is implemented in 44 blocks covering 11 border districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
