Couple killed in road mishap in Punjab

A married couple was killed when the scooter they were riding on collided with a car here, police said today.

While the wife died on spot in the accident that took place last night, the husband succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital, they said.

A case has been registered in this connection, police said, adding, the car driver is absconding and efforts are on to nab him.
