Two cousins were killed when their bike rammed into an electric pole in Perundurai near here today, police said.
The incident occurred when the victims were returning to their native village after visiting a relative in Coimbatore, on their motorcycle.
When the bike approached Perundurai the driver lost control of it and dashed it against the roadside lamp post.
Both sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
However, they succumbed on the way, police said.
