Excise Department has arrested 24 persons and seized over 3,000 litres of foreign and local liquor from different parts of the city, an official release said.
The department raided various places of the city last night and arrested 24 persons in this connection, it said.
The departmental team under the leadership of Kamrup Metro Excise Superintendent Ajay Kumar Bayan also seized six cases of foreign liquor, two cases of beer and 3,000 litres of local liquor from them.
