Electricity Board worker held for raping minor girl

A 21-year-old worker in an electricity board has been arrested on the charge of sexually assaulting a minor girl, police said.

The 16-year-old girl, under the care of a guardian, was alleged kidnapped after she got friendly with the worker, the police said.

Based on a complaint lodged by the girl's relatives, the man was arrested under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act late Monday night.
