Ellen DeGeneres lands Walk of Fame honour

The 54-year-old funnywoman will unveil the 2,477th star at the famous intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street on September 4, reported Daily Star online.

Fellow talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will serve as a guest speaker at the ceremony.

"There will be dancing on the Hollywood Walk of Fame when Ellen is honored with her star," said Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies.

The popular host of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', recently, won the Teen Choice Award for 'Choice Comedian' for a fourth consecutive year.
