Emily Blunt joins Disney's 'Jungle Cruise'

Actor Emily Blunt has joined Dwayne Johnson in Disney's "Jungle Cruise".

The feature is based on the classic Disneyland ride, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Directed by "The Shallows" helmer Jaume Collet-Serra, the film will begin production in May.

Michael Green has penned the most recent draft of the screenplay, originally written by JD Payne and Patrick McKay.

Johnson will also produce the project with Dany Garcia, the co-CEO of the duos Seven Bucks Productions banner.
