Farmer found dead

A 60-year-old farmer was found dead with several injury marks on his body here, police said today.

Prima facie it appears to be case of murder with an intention to loot as the incident took place when the farmer Jagat Singh was on his way tothe villagenear Khatoli last evening, police said.

Singh's body was found with injury marks in the fields near Sufed Phatekat Khatoli.

Thebody has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation in the case in on.
