Four injured in lightning strike

Four people were seriously injured after being struck by lightning while they were working in a farm in Shahpura area here, an official said today.

The victims sustained serious burn injuries in the lightning, he said, adding that they were taken to a primary health center in Shahpura area for treatment.

Meanwhile, Chief minister Vasundhara Raje directed officials to complete the assessment of damage to crops due to the recent untimely rainfall coupled with hailstorm in Sikar and Alwar.
