Four persons sentenced to life imprisonment for murder

Four persons have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court for beating a man to death in 2005.

District and Sessions Judge Ashok Kumar Pathak yesterday handed down the life sentence to Rajkumar, Dinanath, Samarjeet and Gulab Yadav and also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of the convicts for killing Ramkinkar Yadav in Chhitauni village in May 2005.

The victim was beaten to death with sticks.

An FIR of the incident was lodged at Bhadohi Police Station on May 8 by the brother of the victim.
