Gang-rape convict dies in jail
A person serving a life sentence died in the district jail here, authorities claimed today.
Shamshad (70), who was convicted in 2013 in a gang-rape case, was taken to the district hospital where he was declared brought dead by doctors yesterday, they said.
He was suffering from tuberculosis, authorities said.
