Ganja worth Rs 80 lakh seized
About 134 kg of ganja valued at Rs 80 lakh, meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka, has been seized at S Pattinam coastal village, police said.
They said 'Q' branch police on patrol late last night received information about narcotics being stored in the garden of a house.
A search at the house yielded 67 bundles of ganja, each weighing two kg, police said.
The house owner has been arrested.
