'Gilmore Girls' reunion on the cards?

"Gilmore Girls" star Scott Patterson says there are talks going on about a reunion.

The cast of the popular show is due to reunite at next month's ATX Television Festival, but the "Luke" actor said he's "hopeful" something else will happen, reported Huffington Post.

"There are talks going on at the moment," Patterson said while appearing on a Gilmore Guys podcast.

"I can't really go into any detail, but there is some activity. So I'm hopeful, and you know, I'm in. I think it would be a big event, and I think it would be a great fan celebration. They deserve it."
 

In 2014, all 154 episodes of "Gilmore Girls" were made available on Netflix in the US.
