A teenage girl was killed, while another suffered injuries when a mini truck hit their two-wheeler here, police said today.
The mishap took place last evening when Muskan Solanki (17), a student of class 12, was traveling on a two-wheeler with her female friend as pillion rider, towards Jawahar Marg area for some work and a mini truck dashed her vehicle from behind, Khargone SP, Amit Singh said.
On falling, Muskan came under the front wheel of the loading vehicle, while her friend was tossed on the other side and suffered fracture in her hand, Singh said.
Muskan's father L D Solanki, who is posted an Additional District Judge here, and his wife fainted as soon as they got the information about the tragedy, the SP said.
The truck has been seized and the driver has been arrested, he said, adding a case has also been lodged in this regard.
