Another person was arrested from Bihar for alleged involvement in a double murder incident following clash between two rival train robber gangs at Lanjipali area three months ago, police said today.

Vikram Yadav (22) of Sutipur Pariya in Munger was arrested by a police team of Berhampur on Sunday and brought here yesterday on transit remand after production before the court at Bhagalapur in Bihar, they said.

While police last Thursday arrested Kailash Rai (40) of Bhagalpur, they had netted Anirudha Kumar alias Banti (22) and Harendra Baral alias Bhola (20) from Bariharapur earlier in double murder incident of May 6, 2015.

"A police team was sent to Bihar to nab the accused persons involved in the case two days ago on the information gathered from Kailash," said SP (Berhampur) Sarthak Sarangi.

While one accused was arrested, others absconded from their villages, he said adding altogether ten persons, all from Bihar, were believed to be involved in the incident.

Lalu Kumar Yadav (25) and Sailesh Yadav (35) - leaders of two groups - were shot dead in the gun fight here. Both belonged to Bariharpur village and carried out train dacoities alongwith their associates.
