Gold seized from woman passenger

Gold worth around Rs 35 lakh was seized from a woman passenger, who arrived at the airport here from Singapore today, airport officials said.

The gold, weighing 1.3 kgs, was found in the baggage of the passenger, they said.

The passenger, a resident of Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli, was detained for questioning, they said.
