Gujarat govt ignored Kurian on national milk day: Modhwadia

Gujarat Congress chief Arjun Modhwadia today alleged that the BJP government in the state left Verghese Kurian, pioneer of 'white revolution', out of the advertisements on the occasion of national milk day.

"Today is birth anniversary of Verghese Kurian. It is being celebrated as the national milk day. The state government gave advertisement at milk unions' expense....None of those advertisements carried Kurian's photo," he said.
