Barring a sharp rise of Rs 300 per quintal in gur dhayya prices supported by strong demand, other gur varieties ended flat at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today on scattered support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets settled flat in the absence of any worthwhile buying or selling.
Marketmen said paucity of stocks and heavy demand contributed to significant rise in gur dhayyar prices.
