Hotel employee found murdered in Thane

A 40-year-old hotel employee was found murdered in an agriculture field in Manivali village under Kalyan taluka police station limits here.

API S C Nagre of Taluka police station told PTI that the man, identified as Vishwanath Kanayalal Debnath was found dead yesterday afternoon with multiple stab wounds.

His body has been sent for postmortem and hunt is on for the unknown killers.

Debanth, who originally hailed from West Bengal was working with a hotel in Ambernath town here.

Police have registered an offence under section 302 of the IPC.
