I want to play fairy: Susan Boyle

Singer Susan Boyle says she wants to play fairy in a pantomine, which is a type of musical comedy stage production.

The 53-year-old 'I Dreamed a Dream' hitmaker is desperate to land the part of a mythical being on stage because she is keen to put on a pair of wings. She, however, added she would settle for the part of a pantomime villain, reported Contactmusic.

"I'd love to be a fairy in a pantomime. I'd like to be the baddy. I'd love to do that yeah. I'm available for pantomime. Can you imagine me with a pair of wings? I plan to have a break first of all. After that, go and do another tour in Australia somewhere like that," she said.
