Indian man commits suicide in Sharjah

A 30-year-old Indian man has allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of a building in the UAE, a media report said today.

Police said the deceased, who has not been identified, was in an inebriated condition.

They said a passerby informed them about the suicide yesterday in Al Majaz area of Sharjah.

A team comprising forensic experts, CID officers and paramedics rushed to the scene and found the man lying in a pool of blood, Khaleej Times reported.

Police are questioning the acquaintances of the deceased to ascertain the reason for the suicide.
