Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial firmed up at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on good demand from shippers and soap industries.
Refined palmolein also recovered slightly following mild retail offtake.
Meanwhile, groundnut and linseed oils remained stable in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 50 per 100 kg to Rs 4,050 from Monday's closing level of Rs 4,000 and castor oil commercial also gained by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 840 from Rs 830 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 457.
While, groundnut oil ended unaltered at Rs 1,000 per 10 kg.
