Ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the Jammu and Kashmir government has transferred 160 Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SPs) in the state.
Director General of Police Ashok Prasad has ordered the transfers and postings of 160 Dy SPs with immediate effect, an official release said here today.
All the officers shall be relieved forthwith with the directions to report at their places of new posting immediately, the release said.
