Jain Irrigation bags project worth Rs 97.52 cr from HP govt

Micro irrigation systems manufacturer Jain Irrigation today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 97.52 crore from Himachal Pradesh government.

The Himachal Pradesh government has issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) to the company for micro-irrigation systems in hilly region of Hamirpur, it said in a release.

The project will improve water efficiency in canal command areas through conduit distribution using pressurised HDPE piping network to irrigate 11,900 acres.
