Jaiprakash Associates net loss widens to Rs 116 cr

Jaiprakash Associates Ltd's net loss widened to Rs 116.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.

Its net loss in the October-December quarter of 2013-14 fiscal was Rs 88.71 crore, the company said in a filing to BSE.

The total income from operations during the quarter came down to Rs 2,583.35 crore, from over Rs 3,163.64 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

Total expenses of the company during the quarter declined to Rs 2,360.70 crore, over Rs 2,615.70 crore in the year-ago period.

The company scrip closed at Rs 23.90, down 2.45 per cent, on the BSE.
