Jennifer Lopez reportedly wants actress Selena Gomez to play her on-screen.

The 44-year-old singer finds the 'Hanah Montana' star, 21, cute, reported Hello magazine.

Fittingly, one of Lopez's earliest film roles was aptly in 'Selena', a biopic about the famous Latin singer, whom the young actress is named after.

Her namesake is also from Texas and was born to a 16-year-old single mother in 1992.

Like the 'The Wedding Planner' star, whose relationships are constantly reported, Gomez's four-year on-off relationship with singer Justin Bieber is rarely out of the headlines.
