Jharkhand tourist drowns in sea

One Abhishek Jacob had come from Jharkhand to Kakinada on a visit as part of a 30-member troupe of tourists. He went for a swim in the waters along the Vakalapudi beach on the city outskirts here where he drowned, they said.

Thimmapuram police have registered a case in the incident.

The body was yet to be found even as expert divers were pressed in the search operation, they said.
