Kerry Washington celebrates baby shower

'Scandal' star Kerry Washington, who is expecting her first child, celebrated her baby shower in a garden party.

The lavish party was held at the home of her 'Scandal' creator Shonda Rhimes in LA yesterday, where around 50 guests, including actress Jane Fonda and 'Scandal' co-star Darby Stanchfield, showered Washington, 37, with gifts, reported People magazine.

The actress was feted by family and friends in preparation for her new addition with husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

Washington married Asomugha in Idaho last year.
