Loan fraud accused suffer cardiac arrest in jail, hospitalized

A 60-year-old accused lodged in Dasna Jail in connection with an alleged bank loan fraud today suffered cardiac arrest here, officials said.

Nripendra today complained of chest pain after which he was immediately shifted to jail hospital, District Jail Superintendent S P Yadav said.

He was referred to district hospital after administering initial medication, he said.

He is undergoing treatment in judicial custody, the Jail Superintendent said.
