Maha CM's drought relief fund nets Rs 55 crore

The Chief Minister's drought relief fund has collected around Rs 55 crore so far from government and non government organisations, state Chief Minister said today.

The major donors include the famous Siddhivinayak Trust which has donated Rs 25 crore to the relief fund.

Besides, State Agriculture Marketing Board has donated Rs one crore, Rs two crore, State Seeds Corporation Rs 1 crore, Rs 2.51 crore and Abhyudaya Bank Rs one crore, he said in a press statement.

Those who wish to contribute to the Chief Minister's Drought Relief Fund may deposit cheques with the respective divisional commissioners, district collectors or deputy commissioners of the revenue department, the statement said.
