Man kills sexagenarian father over land dispute

A 65-year-old man was today shot dead allegedly by his son over land dispute in Hamirpur district, police said here.

Karamat Ali was shot dead by his son Aalim in Karoch village in Kurara area for preventing him to sell his land, they said.

An FIR has been registered in this regard and police has launched a manhunt to nab the accused who fled from the scene after the incident, they said.

The body has been sent for postmortem.
