Man kills wife

by her husband in Raj colony in Linebazar area here, police said today.

Jharna Srivastava (30) was strangulated by her husband Durgesh yesterday night after an altercation between them, they said.

Police have arrested the man and his father after the victim's family lodged an FIR against them alleging that the incident took place as they could not met their dowry demands.
