Man mowed down by car in Delhi's Jamia Nagar

In a case of hit and run, a 25-year-old man was allegedly mowed down by a car in south east Delhi's Jamia Nagar area today.

A fatal accident took place today at 4.20 PM in Noor Nagar area of Jamia Nagar, said a senior police officer.

The deceased, identified as Ajijuddin was a bus owner and was washing his bus when he was allegedly hit by a car being driven by a female driver, he said.

The accused driver fled from the spot and police is on the lookout for him.
