Medium sugar prices recovered modestly in an otherwise listless Vashi wholesale market here today following renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
While, small sugar held steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activities.
Medium sugar (M-30) rose by Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 3,340/3,660 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 3,340/3,640.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at 3,256/3,400 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,256/3,400 (Rs 3,256/3,400).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,340/3,640 (Rs 3,340/3,640).
