'12 Years a Slave' actor Michael Fassbender is reportedly dating Gerard Butler's ex-girlfriend and Romanian model Madalina Ghenea.

The 36-year-old is said to have gone on a trip to New Zealand with the beauty in November and spent the New Year with her in Romania, reported Contactmusic.

Madalina, 25, reportedly dated Fassbender's '300' co-star Butler last year.

She has also been linked to Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio in the past.
