Minor dead, 10 others ill in suspected food poisoning case

A four-year-old girl died and 10 others of her family fell ill today in a suspected food poisoning case in Vikas Nagar village of Rajasthan's Dungarpur district, an official said.

After the family members complained of vomiting and loose motion today, they were admitted to a hospital.

A team was sent to Vikas Nagar village to take samples of the food and water, Dungarpur CMHO Mahendra Kumar Parmar said.

He said the deceased was identified as Maya Varhat.
