Wicketkeeper-batsman Nama Ojha has replaced Mohneesh Mishra as vice captain of Madhya Pradesh cricket team which will take on Mumbai on January 5 in the ongoing Ranji Trophy tournament.
In another development, Ankit Kushwaha has secured a berth in the cricket team.
The reason for elevating Ojha and resting Mishra is not known. When contacted, MP cricket team skipper Devendra Bundela refused to comment on the issue.

The squad, which will play against Mumbai, includes Bundela, Ojha, J Saxena, Ankit Sharma, Anand Singh Bais, Puneet Daate, Harpreet Singh, Sanjay Mishra, Ramiz Khan, Awesh Khan, Shubham Sharma, Yogesh Rawat, Aditya Shrivastava, Ankit Kushwaha, Saransh Jain and Ankit Dane, said a release issued by Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).
MP team has played four matches and secured five points so far in the tournament. It is placed on the bottom of the table, with one defeat and three draws.
